Field Service Representatives (NGDV Project)

STS Technical Services is hiring Field Service Representatives (FSRs) to support the NGDV postal vehicle program in Spartanburg, South Carolina. This is a short-term 1 to 2 month contract assignment with the potential for extension.

We are seeking seven experienced mechanical professionals who can operate independently, represent STS in the field, and support the rollout and service of the Next Generation Delivery Vehicle (NGDV).

If you have deep vehicle systems experience and strong diagnostic capability, this is a fast-moving, hands-on opportunity.

Field Service Representatives will be trained and qualified to operate, diagnose, troubleshoot, maintain, retrofit, and repair NGDV vehicles. This role supports the ongoing deployment and maintenance of next-generation postal fleet assets.

The FSR will perform field-level mechanical diagnostics, execute repairs, and prepare maintenance and revision reports for serviced vehicles.

• Support the NGDV postal vehicle program in Spartanburg, South Carolina
  
• Operate, diagnose, troubleshoot, maintain, retrofit, and repair NGDV vehicles
  
• Perform mechanical system troubleshooting and repairs
  
• Prepare and deliver maintenance, repair, and revision reports for serviced vehicles
  
• Communicate effectively with customers and internal teams
  
• Represent STS Technical Services professionally in a customer-facing environment
  

• High School Diploma or GED required
  
• Valid Driver's License and ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Records check
  
• Minimum of 5 years of mechanical experience with vehicle systems
  
• Strong communication skills and ability to work diplomatically with customers and coworkers
  

• Formal education or certifications in vehicle service and repair
  
• Proficiency in vehicle electronics and troubleshooting wire harnesses
  
• 10 years of vehicle maintenance experience
