Configuration Management Specialist

Solvere Technical Group is seeking a Senior level Configuration management Specialist who will maintain total configuration data management of NTNO & NTCGO systems throughout Acquisition Lifecycle for Coast Guard cutters.

Job Description:

• Perform configuration management and data entry into the Model Based Product Support (MBPS), US Navy configuration database.
• Add, change, or delete configuration items from existing databases and ensure data accuracy.
• Analyze and maintain hierarchical data structures for assignment systems.
• Analyze and input submitted configuration change forms or documents.
• Contribute to the creation of Physical Configuration Audits (PCAs), Configuration Control Board (CCB) analysis, and Logistics Engineering Reports.
• Perform database queries and provide reports on data calls.
• Conduct shipboard configuration validation audits of all systems installed at delivery, after the vessel's post-delivery availability, prior to departure from the vessel's PSA-1 and PSA-2.

Qualifications:

• Must have at least 10+ years of experience working Configuration Management with NTNO & NTCGO systems new acquisitions.
• Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Must have mastery of Microsoft Word and Excel, and familiarity with Military Documentation Standards. (MILSTDS) also required.

Desired Qualification:

• Have an extensive background in Provisioning, Configuration Management, design interface support, and training are highly desired.
• Experience with Model Based Product Support (MBPS), US Navy configuration database.
• Experience in U.S. Coast Guard FLS, ACMS, CGLIMS is a plus

• Pass a NACI Background check
• Secret Clearance required
