Job Summary This position supports the college's strategic enrollment goals by delivering comprehensive recruitment and outreach services to prospective students, families, and school partners. The role includes conducting in-person and virtual outreach at K-12 schools, college and career fairs, community and corporate events, as well as assisting with campus tours and recruitment campaigns. The position represents the college, works with prospective students, and responds to inquiries through a customer relationship management system and multiple communication platforms. Working collaboratively with internal departments and external partners, this role guides all populations of students through the admissions and enrollment process by providing accurate information, resources, and support. Essential Functions 30% - Student Recruitment, Outreach, and Admissions Support Performs a broad range of student services and recruitment functions by managing, scheduling, organizing, and attending recruitment activities, including application workshops, college presentations, campus tours, and tabling events at local high schools, community partners, businesses, and nontraditional venues. Markets the college by distributing promotional materials, advising prospective students through the admissions process, and providing comprehensive information about college programs and resources. Supports prospective students in troubleshooting complex admissions and enrollment issues. Prepares recruitment materials, coordinates event logistics with external stakeholders, and assists in the development of presentations and outreach materials. Requires access to view and update student records while adhering to institutional, district, and state policies and regulations, including the responsible handling of personally identifiable information. Maintains a high level of self-management in coordinating workflow and travel to recruitment events. 25% - Partnership Development and Institutional Representation Develops and maintains collaborative relationships with K-12 institutions, the Maricopa Community Colleges, campus departments, and nontraditional partners to advance the mission and goals of Glendale Community College in admissions, enrollment, and retention. Assists with college and district-wide initiatives, events, and recruitment activities. Maintains comprehensive knowledge of degree and certificate programs offered across the district. Provides stakeholders with student support information, college resources, training, troubleshooting assistance, workshops, and presentations. Facilitates campus visits and tours. Represents the college in district recruitment councils and participates in multi college recruitment events and student services initiatives both on and off campus. 20% - CRM Management, Student Communication, and Enrollment Processing Monitors, assigns, and responds to inquiries using a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system and departmental service email accounts. Prepares reports and queries related to prospective students, current students, high school graduates, adult learners, and nontraditional populations. Communicates with leads and applicants via phone, email, chat, in-person meetings, video conferencing, and scheduled campus tours to guide them through the admissions and enrollment process. Processes and troubleshoots college applications and enrollment steps. Provides detailed information regarding degree, certificate, and academic programs. Utilizes the student information system to access and interpret student records, including transcripts, test scores, course schedules, account holds, financial aid information, and tuition expenses. 20% - Cross-Departmental Collaboration, Student Support Integration, and Special Projects Establishes and sustains collaborative relationships with academic departments and student service areas including Early College programs, Enrollment Services, Career Services, University Transfer, and related campus units. Supports departmental initiatives, events, and service efforts to enhance student access, transition, and success. Contributes to special projects, strategic initiatives, and additional duties as assigned to support enrollment growth, operational effectiveness, and institutional priorities. 5% - Assists with special projects and other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Associate's Degree from a regionally accredited institution and two years of student services or college teaching experience or experience assisting with educational program development and coordination, student advisement, financial aid, or related student development programs. OR An equivalent combination of the conferred degree and directly related full-time work experience as described above sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above, unless otherwise subject to any other requirements set forth in law or regulation, may be considered. Desired Qualifications A. Bachelor's degree or higher B. Experience working in a higher education environment with student populations C. Experience using a customer relations management (CRM) or student information systems software D. Experience providing customer service via in-person, phone, chat/online, SMS, and/or email. E. Experience developing and delivering presentations to various group sizes F. Experience using computer software applications, including spreadsheets or databases G.Effective written communication skills (as evidenced by submitted resume and cover letter) H. One (1) year of relevant full-time MCCCD experience during the previous two years Special Working Conditions
