Advanced Practice Provider Inpatient Cardiology

Seeking and Advanced Practice Provider to work in collaboration with attending cardiologists to provide consultative care at UH Lake West Medical Center. Open to new graduate APRNs and PAs and prior cardiology experience preferred. Schedule will be four 10-hour day shifts per week with rotating weekends with possible cross-cover at UH Tripoint Medical Center.

A Brief Overview
The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) is responsible for providing quality care for patients and increasing patient access and satisfaction. Standard tasks to be performed by an Advanced Practice Provider as specified by the Ohio State Board of Medicine or Nursing and UH entity specific Medical Bylaws.

The Nurse Practitioner is responsible for providing quality care for patients and increasing patient access and satisfaction. Standard tasks to be performed by a Nurse Practitioner as specified by the Ohio State Nursing Board and UH entity specific Medical Bylaws

• Provides education through role modeling and in-services to meet identified learning needs and to promote professionalism (5%)
• Advances own professional development through self-directed learning, continuing education and participation in peer review (5%)

• Must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients. Annual training, the UH Code of Conduct and UH policies and procedures are in place to address appropriate use of PHI in the workplace.
