HOW YOU WILL MAKE HISTORY HERE...
As a General Utility team member, you will play an important role in supporting the daily operations of our manufacturing facility. By assisting with production, sanitation, packaging, material handling, and equipment support activities, you will help ensure the safe, efficient, and reliable production of quality products while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
WHAT YOU WILL DO...
- Support production operations by pre-weighing ingredients, staging materials, cutting raw materials, removing scrap materials, and identifying product defects according to specifications.
- Assist with packaging finished products, materials, parts, and equipment.
- Load, unload, move, and transport materials throughout the facility as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness throughout the manufacturing environment, including production areas, equipment, floors, workstations, and common areas.
- Ensure work areas remain organized and compliant with 5S and production standards.
- Lubricate equipment, hand-clean parts, and assist with equipment assembly.
- Perform routine maintenance activities and minor repairs as assigned.
- Assist with production line startup and shutdown activities to minimize downtime and support operational efficiency.
- Work collaboratively with team members to complete tasks safely and efficiently.
- Support coworkers with assigned duties and operational needs.
- Follow all department procedures, work instructions, and safety requirements.
- Operate production equipment or machinery when qualified and authorized to do so.
- Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), allergen control requirements, food safety standards, and plant safety policies.
- Work overtime as needed to support business demands.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE... (MUST HAVE)
- High School Diploma or GED and/or 1 year of production experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic math skills.
- Ability to follow work instructions, procedures, and safety requirements.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Ability to perform manual labor, including lifting, moving, loading, and unloading materials.
- Commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and organized workplace.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with moving machinery, noise, varying temperatures, humidity, and other industrial conditions.
- Willingness to work overtime as required.
IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU HAVE... (NICE TO HAVE)
- Previous food manufacturing or consumer packaged goods experience.
- Experience working in production, packaging, sanitation, or warehouse operations.
- Familiarity with GMPs, allergen programs, and food safety requirements.
- Experience operating manufacturing or packaging equipment.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and experience performing routine equipment maintenance.
- Knowledge of 5S or continuous improvement principles.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Regular exposure to moving mechanical equipment.
- Frequent exposure to wet or humid conditions.
- Occasional exposure to fumes, airborne particles, chemicals, and elevated work areas.
- Loud manufacturing environment requiring appropriate PPE.
COMPENSATION
Starting Rate: $16.25 per hour Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
