The Finance F&S team is dedicated to financial reporting and enabling budget execution & optimization to deliver growth and efficiencies across the company. This role partners across multiple functions including Finance Business Partners, Corporate F&S, Sales Strategy, Recruiting, Sourcing, Accounting and others in the broader Finance organization. This individual will report through the Sales Finance Team with the primary area of responsibility being long-range planning and headcount management. The Finance & Strategy (F&S) team serves as a trusted advisor to the business, guiding decision-making through strong business partnership and insightful, innovative analysis. This role operates cross-functionally within F&S to deliver exceptional results through process improvement, enhanced management reporting, providing key access to data, and by acting as a subject matter expert for expense management and other related items for the organization they support. This role will partner with our Sales teams in financial planning, forecasting, management reporting, and ad hoc analyses.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Sales Long Range Plan by partnering with teams across the business including Sales Strategy and Corporate Finance to develop predictive modeling that incorporates key initiatives, historic trends, and macroeconomic data

  • Quantify and articulate impact on long-range strategies for key business decisions, including capacity growth and proposal for shifts in the company's Sales motion (e.g. direct vs. indirect sales)

  • Manage seller & support capacity and provide strategic capacity insights to senior leadership including but not limited to segment, role type, and ratios

  • Partner with Employee Success and Recruiting to achieve hiring goals and partner with the short-term Sales Planning team to manage hiring risks and opportunities to the overall Sales budget

  • Own key metric reporting and analytics including but not limited to seller productivity and seller to support ratios

  • Develop a strong understanding of the Salesforce business model and translate the impact of changes in key inputs and business decisions on the Sales Long Range Plan

  • Monitor trends and provide senior leadership with key insights and recommendations to manage execution risks and opportunities on revenue growth

  • Support the development of Operating Unit (OU) P&Ls presented to FBPs and Sales leaders, providing insights that help influence key business decisions and drive performance against KPIs

  • Curate datasets and build dashboards for data points commonly requested by senior management

  • Partner with Finance Data Governance, Headcount Management (HCM) & Sales support teams to maintain updated Operating Unit mappings and Planning org

  • Build & maintain cross functional relationships with the broader F&S team

Required Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent or equivalent relevant experience required. Experience will be evaluated based on the Core Competencies for the role (e.g. extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer roles, work experience, etc.

  • 5+ years related experience in FP&A, Accounting, Analytics, or Management Consulting

  • Foundational FP&A experience required with a deep knowledge of financial statements

  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with an ability to explain complex issues in an understandable way

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment with competing priorities and influence at all levels within the organization

  • Advanced skill with financial modeling in Excel or GSheets

  • Highly motivated, detail oriented, self-aware and responsive

  • Ability to synthesize complex data into simple consumable deliverables with clear takeaways

  • Experience creating Powerpoint/Google Slide presentations for management. Experience with financial systems (Hyperion, Oracle, Tableau) preferred

This role is hybrid and goes into the office 3 days per week.
