Medical Assistant Medical Receptionist Baltimore MD Pay From: $21 Per Hour MUST: The qualified Medical Assistant-Medical Receptionist must have the following experience: 2+ years of experience as a medical assistant Experience handling clinical duties as well as front office duties Experience rooming patients Wound care Obtaining vitals and medical histories Assisting with clinical exams and procedures Answering phones Scheduling appointments Collecting co-pays Checking patients in and out Cleaning exam rooms and maintaining and stocking supplies Must have experience with IDX/MedConnect Obtaining prior authorizations Handling administrative duties Performing patient call backs DUTIES: Medical Assistant's duties include but are not limited to the following: Room patients Obtain vital signs and medical histories Enter and update patient information in IDX/MedConnect EMR Assist with exams and procedures Handle wound care Enter patient information into EMR system Keep exam rooms cleaned and stocked Ensure all related labs and reports are entered into patients charts Maintain and stock supplies Sanitize exam rooms Provide patient education to patients Answer phones Check patients in and out Perform patient call backs Schedule appointments Process prescriptions Quadrant is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
