We are seeking a Full-Time Supply Chain Manager to be responsible for implementing, measuring, and leading designated Supply Chain processes associated with material management in the designated facilities i.e., Christiana Hospital. Materials and Network Emergency Departments management includes the functions of receiving, putting away, par requisition and storage operations and inventory management. The Manager will lead a team of staff members and have overall responsibility for their assigned functions. This position plays a key role in fostering Supply Chain's customer service image within the assigned facilities. Principal Duties and Responsibilities:Coordinates material operations for assigned locations. Establishes overall specifications for par and re-order point procurement systems, requisitions, and ordering. Manages the day-to-day operations of the assigned locations. Performs other tasks and collateral duties as may be directed such as serving on selected committees, participating in special projects and representing Materials Management at designated meetings. Manages the Supply Chain Operations administrative functions related to the staff, expense management, budget, and operations for assigned facilities Leads a team of supervisors; interviews, selects and trains new team members as needed, actively manages staff performance & engagement, and assesses development needs to provide development opportunities. Oversee inventory control procedures to maintain optimal stock levels and reduce waste. Develops and implements policies and procedures for material distribution and management at PAR locations e.g., ordering and replenishment policies, ensuring timeliness and accuracy. Conduct regular audits and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement. Coordinate materials operations to ensure the timely and efficient distribution of supplies to all assigned sites. Monitor and manage materials performance metrics with a focus of continuous improvement. Manages the equipment cleaning and distribution system throughout the designated hospitals with accuracy and timeliness. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clinical leaders and key stakeholders across the organization. Collaborate with clinical departments to understand their supply needs and provide tailored solutions. Act as a liaison between the supply chain team and clinical staff, ensuring clear communication and alignment of goals. Education and Experience Requirements:Bachelor's degree or equivalent required 5 Years' experience in Supply Chain, preferably with Health Care industry experience Experience with ERP systems, preferably Workday Experience managing inventory levels and maintaining accurate inventory records Leadership experience, either in Supply Chain or Clinical environment Lean/6 sigma experience and/or certifications preferred Knowledge, Skill, and Ability RequirementsExhibits a strong understanding of Supply Chain logistics operations Proficient use of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel Demonstrated competence using materials management/ERP systems, including Workday Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate in English both verbally and in writing Ability to manage based on a philosophy centered on quality and a business orientation to the daily operation of the department Ability to lead a team of supervisors ChristianaCare offers: Incredible Work/Life benefits including medical/dental/ vision insurance coverage on your first day of employment, generous PTO, retirement plans, paid parental leave, annual membership to care.com, access to backup care services for dependents through Care@Work, retirement planning services, financial coaching, fitness and wellness reimbursement, and great discounts through several vendors for hotels, rental cars, theme parks, shows, sporting events, movie tickets and much more! Annual Compensation Range $73,611.20 - $117,790.40 This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare's good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting.
