IT Coordinator

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is an employee-owned federal government contractor supporting national priority programs through our strategic solutions in the areas of Information Technology, Test & Evaluation, Program Mission Support, Engineering & Analysis, and Training.

IT Coordinator will support the Department of the Navy Special Access Programs Central Office (DONSAPCO) Information Technology Branch, Security Manager, and Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) at the Pentagon. The scope of work will include stand-alone laptops as well as Modeling and Simulation system Local Area Networks (LAN).

Process and track customer requests for hardware, software, and IT assistance.
• Ensure timely responses to customer requests for hardware, software, and assistance to enhance customer experience and foster collaboration.
• Provides audio-visual support.
• Set ups, operates, maintains equipment used to enhance live events, such as microphones, video recorders, projectors, lighting and sound mixing equipment.
• Manage workflows and maintain accurate records.
• Assists by setting up and adjusting equipment to meet production requirements.
• Performs routine maintenance of audio-visual equipment.
• Assists in editing tapes, incorporating graphic enhancements, videotaping and photographing events.
• Archives a library of audio and video programming.

• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI is a must.
• High School diploma and 3-6 years of related work experience
• Strong coordination and multitasking skills
• Proficiency in tracking and managing service requests
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
• Experience working with IT service management platforms
• Proven organizational skills with the ability to coordinate across multiple teams in a fast-paced environment
