Centerstone is among the nation's leading nonprofit behavioral health systems with thousands of employees dedicated to delivering care that changes people's lives. A dynamic, well-established organization, we offer rewarding opportunities to serve all ages in a variety of settings. Come talk to us about joining the Centerstone team! JOB DESCRIPTION: SUMMARY OF POSITION A Centerstone Intensive In-Home Therapist provides individual and family counseling for youth in crisis (ages 3 to 18), with the goal of stabilizing symptoms and preventing placement of youth into more restrictive setting such as hospital or residential treatment. Treatment takes place in the home and community. Candidates need a solid knowledge of therapeutic techniques such as family therapy, CBT, TF-CBT, play therapy, or other modalities. HIGHLIGHTS In addition to the core responsibilities outlined below, this role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact through hands-on, community-based work with children and families. The therapist will provide services across multiple counties in settings where families feel most comfortable-such as their homes, schools, and community spaces. While the majority of sessions are conducted in person to foster strong therapeutic relationships, telehealth options may be utilized when clinically appropriate. This position offers a dynamic and flexible schedule, with afternoon and evening availability aligning with family needs and allowing for meaningful engagement when clients are most accessible. You will work with children and families facing complex emotional and behavioral challenges, including trauma, aggression, suicidal or homicidal ideation, elopement, and other high-risk behaviors. This role is ideal for clinicians who are passionate about intensive, strengths-based interventions and who value being present in the community to help families maintain stability and prevent out-of-home placement. If you are confident working in high-acuity situations, thrive in a collaborative environment, and are motivated by the opportunity to create lasting change, this position offers both professional growth and the reward of truly impactful work.
