Genesis10 is currently seeking a QA Automation Engineer for a hybrid position (3 days per week onsite) with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC, Plano, TX and Pennington, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. This role is for a QA Automation expert with experience in treasury, payment, or transaction services. The ideal candidate will be able to support parallel projects in a fast-paced environment, utilizing waterfall and agile methodologies. This position involves performing system and data analysis, creating test plans and scripts, and ensuring data quality and integrity. Responsibilities: Support parallel projects in waterfall/agile development methodologies Perform requirements analysis and mapping Conduct system and data analysis based on business needs, including integration testing and data quality validation Create test plans, scripts, and artifacts for all phases of testing Identify, document, and resolve data quality and data integrity issues Analyze and test mappings, workflows, and other data processes Ensure adherence to locally defined standards Requirements: At least 5 years of experience in treasury, payment, or transactions services Demonstrable hands-on experience in Automation Projects in a Developer or Lead capacity Experience reviewing requirements and project documentation to perform automation feasibility analysis Experience designing, developing, maintaining, and analyzing automated test scripts Experience executing automation scripts, preparing execution reports, and creating defect logs Experience creating project deliverables including automation test plans, estimations, and reports 3+ years of strong knowledge in technologies such as Core Java, VB Scripting, SQL, Basic Unix, Cucumber, and SpringBoot Desired skills: 4+ years of experience in Data, File, Database and ETL/Data warehouse testing Strong command of SQL with the ability to write complex queries Experience with Shell Scripts, Regular Expressions (RegExps), and UNIX 3+ years of experience in parsing and generating data/files, XML, and XPath Hands-on experience with Eclipse, NetBeans, TestNG, Selenium, and Cucumber Experience with version control systems like Bitbucket, SVN, or Perforce Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and debugging skills Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies 3+ years of experience using Quality Center/ALM/Octane 2+ years of experience in the banking domain, with exposure to treasury/payment systems Familiarity with testing different file and message formats such as SWIFT, CAMT, XML, BAI2, CSV Extensive knowledge and experience with API (microservice) cucumber script test creation Pay range: $49.37 - $57.37 per hour Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
