Primary Purpose of Organizational Unit
Welcome visitors to the University of North Carolina Tar Heel experience. Serve as ambassadors of Event Management.
Position Summary
*THIS IS A CONTINUOUS POSTING UNTIL ALL POSITIONS ARE FILLED"

The selected candidates will assist in all facets of Division I Athletic event management, including preparation and facilitation for regular and post-season Olympic Sports events and home football and Men's Basketball games. Additionally, candidates will be managing crowds, working with visiting teams/officials, managing scoreboards, scanning tickets, public address, and other duties as assigned, which will require providing high level of service and reliability in all areas. Candidates must be able and willing to work nights, weekends and operate effectively in inclement weather.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
Graduation from high school; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Management Preferences
Understanding of D1 Athletic policies and protocols
Ability to be calm and personable under pressure
Experience with event management and designing event related materials
Strong interpersonal skills with ability to listen and communicate effectively
AED, First Aid/ CPR experience
Special Physical/Mental Requirements
Position(s) involve working in inclement weather and standing for long periods of time with or without reasonable accommodation.
