As the Member Engagement Project Manager, you will lead education, outreach, and communication strategies that strengthen trust, improve transparency, and elevate overall member experience. This role plays a critical part in ensuring members understand their pension benefits, feel supported, and can access information when and how they need it. This is more than communications - this is impact.

What You'll Do:

  • Design and deliver retirement readiness and financial wellness education programs, presentations, and annual events (including National Retirement Security Week/Month).
  • Measure member satisfaction and lead initiatives to enhance the overall member experience.
  • Partner with the Pension Board, County stakeholders, and RPS leadership to strengthen transparency and collaboration.
  • Manage project budgets, timelines, and contractual vendors (graphic design, web development, content creation, etc.).
  • Lead change management efforts when benefits or processes evolve.
  • Increase engagement with retired members and other key audiences.

What We're Looking For:

  • Wisconsin residency required at time of application.
  • Associate's degree.
  • At least 3 years of experience in retirement plan administration or benefits administration for a complex benefits plan with significant client/customer interaction.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

  • Proven ability to design and execute communication, education, and outreach strategies.
  • Strong analytical mindset with experience building performance dashboards and reporting against KPIs.
  • Ability to measure and improve customer experience through data-driven strategies.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Experience collaborating across leadership teams and resolving organizational challenges.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, budgets, and timelines effectively.

Technical proficiency in:

  • Word processing and spreadsheet applications
  • Desktop publishing tools (MS Publisher, Adobe, etc.)
  • Web content management systems
  • Project management software (MS Project or similar)
  • Data analysis tools

Why This Role Matters:

This position is a key member of the RPS leadership team and will directly influence how members experience and understand their retirement benefits. You'll help shape transparency, trust, and financial confidence for thousands of members.

If you're a self-starter who combines strategy, data, communication, and heart - we want to hear from you.
