The Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital Pediatric RN Residency is dedicated to providing a 12-month foundational program for the graduate or otherwise eligible nurse to provide the support and knowledge to grow into a competent pediatric professional practitioner.

Our Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia (CDH) and Respiratory ECMO unit is a 15 bed critical care unit. CDH is a rare and complex condition that requires advanced, multidisciplinary care. As the hospital's Respiratory ECMO Center, this unit manages some of the most critically ill neonatal patients, offering exposure to cutting-edge therapies and technology early in your career. With 1:1 or 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratios, you'll receive strong mentorship while developing critical thinking skills and confidence in managing complex cases.

Families travel nationally and internationally for care on this unit due to our expertise and outcomes, with survival rates exceeding 90%-well above the national average of 40-60%. This is a unique opportunity to build a strong foundation in neonatal critical care while making a meaningful, life-saving impact from day one.

Shifts: 36 hours per week (Nights)

Who Should Apply:


* BSN from an accredited School of Nursing, preferred. Applicants with an Associate Degree in nursing will be considered and must obtain BSN within 36 months of hire


* Registered Nurse (RN) Required. Florida State or Compact License required


* No experience in health care required but is preferred


* BLS certification provided by AHA

Accreditation Statement


Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital RN Residency Program is accredited with distinction as a Practice Transition Program by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation in Practice Transition Programs.

Salary Range: Minimum 35.02/hour - Maximum 35.02/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
