The Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) II's purpose is to provide quality sleep medicine care to our patients, including routine and complex procedures, using a wide variety of techniques and equipment. Possesses the ability to provide quality care and are accountable for maintaining all skills and knowledge necessary to provide safe, effective and developmentally appropriate sleep medicine care to all ages of patients from neonate to adolescent. Along with other members of the care team, is responsible for patient outcomes that meet the high standards of care provided by JHACH.

In this role, you will assess patients' clinical status, track progress toward goals, and recommend next steps to ensure high-quality sleep studies and proper CPAP use. You will respond quickly and safely in urgent situations, using sound judgment and critical thinking. Daily responsibilities include updating EMRs, completing required paperwork, taking medical histories and vital signs, reconciling medications, and preparing patients for exams to maintain efficient clinic flow. You will accurately interpret and clearly communicate patient results to support effective care plans, and explain therapies and procedures in a way patients and families can understand, respecting different learning styles and backgrounds while collaborating with the interdisciplinary team. The role includes providing coverage at Johns Hopkins All Children's Outpatient Care Centers to support patients in their communities, delivering sleep education sessions to sleep center staff to promote team learning and growth, mentoring RPSGT staff to build strong, collaborative relationships, and serving as a resource for clinical problem-solving and equipment-related

QUALIFICATIONS:
* A minimum of a High School diploma, GED, Certificate of Completion or equivalent achievement.
* Current Registered Sleep Technologist (RPSGT) credential by the Board for Polysomnographic Technologist (BRPT)
* 2 years of experience in sleep technology
* Current BLS certific

Salary Range: Minimum 27.85/hour - Maximum 44.57/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
