What you'll do:

The
Accounts Receivable Clerk position is responsible for monitoring, collecting,
and applying funds received for customer accounts and supporting the Shared
Service Accounts Receivable department.

JOB
RESPONSIBILITIES:
*
Prepare bank deposits and review for accuracy
*
Apply payments to outstanding customer invoices in a timely manner
*
Monitor and maintain accounts receivable aging
*
Assist with the accounts receivable process through correspondence and
collection calls
*
Prepare customer invoices and Manufacturers Statement of Origin (MSO) for all
chassis
*
Maintain MSO log
*
Reconcile customer accounts
*
Obtain appropriate tax documents and necessary new Customer setup information
as needed
*
Assist with the review of customer credit issues
*
Maintain accounts receivable / customer files
*
Respond to requests for information from internal and external customers in a
courteous and professional manner
What you need to be successful:

HS
Diploma or GED required (Associates degree in Accounting or Finance preferred)
*
Minimum of one year accounts receivable experience
*
Able to perform a wide range of clerical functions and basic accounting
procedures
*
Demonstrate a high level of professionalism in dealing with confidential and
sensitive issues
*
Strong and consistent attention to detail
*
Self-motivated with the ability to stay on task
*
Innovative team player
*
Intermediate computer skills are required
*
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
*
Experience using accounting ERP systems
*
Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
*
Able to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment
*
Willing to improve self / area / company (including pursing additional
training, if needed)
*
Strong communication skills, verbal and written
*
Organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
