About the role

Balfour Beatty Investments is seeking a highly adaptable, detail focused, and proactive Contract Analyst responsible for administering, analyzing, and monitoring government and third party contractual agreements. This role plays a critical part in managing contractual risk, ensuring accountability for public or external funds, and supporting audit and reporting requirements across the contract lifecycle.

The successful candidate will assist in tracking contractual obligations, milestones, renewals, amendments, and expirations dates to ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and applicable government regulations, if relevant. The ideal candidate is organized, communicative, and skilled at managing multiple priorities while exercising sound judgment in a fast paced, deadline driven environment. This is a remote role.

What you'll be doing



  • Preparation and incorporation of contract obligations in the contract obligation inventory system


  • Documentation and recordkeeping


  • Assist with the development of contracting and reporting functions.
  • Track contractual obligations, milestones, renewals, amendments, and expiration dates.


  • Monitor compliance documentation with contractual and programmatic requirements
  • Support subcontract closeout activities
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and contribute to enhancements in tools, templates, and workflows


  • Assist in the review that performance metrics and deliverables have been met and have been retained.
  • Assist in performing semi-annual and annual project reviews with obligation owners.


  • Perform QA/QC reviews


  • Validate processes and procedures within the supporting documentation.
  • Assist with compliance reviews, monitoring activities, and corrective action plans.
  • Maintain contract files and records in accordance with records retention and accountability requirements.


  • Support reporting requirements tied to government contracts or thirdparty agreements.


  • Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation and responding to audit inquiries.
  • Serve as a liaison between program staff, legal counsel, procurement, finance, and external partners.


  • Provide guidance to internal stakeholders on contract and reporting processes, procedures, and requirements
  • Support Senior Vice President of Contracts, Subcontracts and Procurement and the Director of Government Reporting on ad hoc projects as assigned.
  • Provide recommendations for continuous improvement of the contract obligation and reporting processes


Who we're looking for



  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5-7 years of work exper
  • Excellent organizational skills, problem solving skills, and the ability to interface with internal customers and external customers
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Excel/Word)
  • Strong knowledge of contract compliance, monitoring, and documentation requirements
  • Ability to manage multiple actions under deadlines
  • High attention to detail and ability to document and follow processes.
  • Must be able to work in a high-paced environment
  • Familiarity with construction project environments and/or government contracting principles is a plus

Pay Rate: $80,000 - $105,000 yr.*

*This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee's pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.
