Nutritionist I

The Champaign-Urbana Public Health District (CUPHD) is seeking to fill a full-time (40-hour week) Nutritionist I position for the WIC program in the Maternal and Child Health Management division.

Duties and Responsibilities include:


  • Assess, deliver, educate, plan, implement and coordinate the nutrition services for individuals and/or families in various social-economic conditions in the clinic or other community settings.


Requirements:


  • A bachelor's degree in dietetics, nutrition or a closely related field is required.
  • For WIC Nutritionists, 20 hours of nutrition-specific coursework is required.
  • A valid driver's license, dependable transportation, and proof of automobile insurance is required.

The expected annual starting salary is $52,556. Full annual salary range for a Class 6 Nutritionist I is $52,556 - $70,950 for a 40-hour week.
