Position Summary The Branch Logistics Coordinator is responsible for shipping, receiving, loading, and unloading of all new, used, rental, and repossessed machines. The Branch Logistics Coordinator is also required to manage the merchandising and organizational flow for all new machines and work tools, as well as maintain a display that meets Caterpillar merchandising standards. This position requires knowledge of equipment operation including construction, earthmoving, forestry, and mining equipment, as well as lift trucks, aerial equipment, on-highway trucks, and off-highway trucks. Experience operating equipment including loading and unloading equipment on low-boy trailers is required. The Branch Logistics Coordinator must be able to perform independently under limited supervision. This position requires working in all climates and possessing the ability to perform physically challenging tasks. The Branch Logistics Coordinator will demonstrate initiative, commitment to teamwork, enthusiasm for customer service, and dedication to finding solutions in an efficient manner. The Branch Logistics Coordinator will advance in pay as attitude, skill level, and job performance allows. A valid driver's license is required for this position. Essential Responsibilities & Expectations * Follows advanced safe machine operation * Loads and unloads equipment safely * Operates and moves equipment when and where necessary * Capable of identifying equipment product lines * Follows 5-Star Contamination Control procedures * Maintains a photo library and documents condition of all equipment * Organizes machine attachments and ship attachments as required. * Keeps accurate and timely records of all work * Assists customers and company personnel on the yard * Maintains equipment display yard and inventory yard to meet Caterpillar merchandising and Thompson CX Department standards * Assists Customer Shop with receiving and unloading machines (when needed) * Works frequently with Parts Department personnel to manage in-flow of attachments Qualifications Education

Exposure to physical risk and all weather conditions is associated with this position. Standing on hard surfaces for extended periods of time is often required.
