What You'll Do:

We are seeking a motivated Data Science / Data Engineering Intern with strong analytical thinking, solid technical fundamentals, and a willingness to learn. This role offers a unique opportunity to blend data engineering best practices with data science/analytics to improve reporting, automate processes, and enable self-serve insights across the business.

You will help build and maintain analytics-ready datasets, develop repeatable extraction/transform workflows, and support the evolution of reporting from legacy tools to modern dashboards and data products.


Key responsibilities will include:


  • Assisting in designing and building data pipelines (extract, transform, validate) that power dashboards and recurring reporting.
  • Leveraging LLM's to write and optimize SQL to pull, join, and transform data from enterprise systems and reporting sources.
  • Leveraging LLM's to write and optimize Python (e.g., pandas) to clean data, standardize definitions, and automate repeatable workflows.
  • Supporting the creation of Streamlit and/or ThoughtSpot dashboards to enhance reporting usability and speed.
  • Help organize and move key datasets into the data warehouse to improve access to historical data and support automated reporting.
  • Contributing to data quality and reconciliation checks (e.g., tie-outs to source systems, anomaly flags, validation rules).
  • Assisting with exploratory analysis and prototyping of leading indicators and business-driver relationships (as needed for forecasting and decision support).
  • Documenting assumptions, logic, and definitions so others can trust and reuse the work.



What We're Looking For:


  • Rising senior, recent graduate or graduate student pursuing a degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Math, Engineering, Business Analytics, Economics or related field(s).
  • Familiarity with SQL (joins, aggregations; window functions a plus).
  • Familiarity with Python for data analysis (pandas preferred).
  • Interest in data engineering concepts: ETL/ELT, data modeling, validation, reproducibility, and performance.
  • Interest in developing dashboards using Streamlit and/or ThoughtSpot (experience a plus, not required).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new tools, data sources, and project priorities.
  • Interest in exploring new ETL tools, best practices, or emerging trends to improve data processes.
  • Ability to commit to 37.5 hours/week from June 8th - August 14th, 2026.


  • Must be at a commutable distance (within 50 miles) to the Purchase, NY office

* This is a paid internship. The expected hourly rate for this role is $23/hour.
