What to Expect

Consider before submitting an application:

This position is expected to start May 2026 and continue through the entire Summer term (i.e. through August 2026) or into Fall 2026 if available. We ask for a minimum of 12 weeks, full-time and on-site, for most internships.

International Students: If your work authorization is through CPT, please consult your school on your ability to work 40 hours per week before applying. You must be able to work 40 hours per week on-site. Many students will be limited to part-time during the academic year.

The Energy Services Transformation & Analytics team is embedded in daily operations, supporting both near-term execution and long-term planning. Team members are expected to partner closely with the business to analyze technical data, provide recommendations, and lead cross-functional decision-making and implementation of the recommendations.


What You'll Do
  • Perform Advanced SQL queries on massive datasets to create analytics that provide insight to drive action using various SQL languages
  • Create and maintain insightful data visualization dashboards (using Tableau and similar tools)
  • Create and maintain data ELT pipelines using Python and Airflow scheduling
  • Automate operations
  • Support internal stakeholders
  • Document technical details for inter-team and intra-team communication
  • Use Git and Jira for workflow tracking

What You'll Bring
  • Currently pursuing a Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Analytics/Science or related field or equivalent in experience
  • Strong knowledge of SQL, Python, and data visualization tools (Tableau)
  • Demonstrated experience building data pipelines using Airflow
  • Experience with Git or other source control software
  • Experience with using AI and prompt engineering to support work
