Position Summary

The Biomedical Technician Intern supports the assigned location by learning and performing operational verification, preventive maintenance, and basic repair of medical equipment.

What You Will Do in This Role
  • Perform operational verification, preventive maintenance, and basic repair of medical equipment under supervision.
  • Complete all required documentation and data entry accurately and on time.
  • Support equipment inspections, calibrations, and inventory management activities.
  • Interact professionally with clinical staff and deliver prompt, customerfocused service.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
What You Will Need for This Role
  • Enrollment in a 2 or 4year accredited biomedical program, with graduation expected within 12 months.
  • Ability to perform basic operational verification, preventive maintenance, and repair on medical equipment.
  • Familiarity with test equipment such as digital multimeters, patient simulators, or electrical safety analyzers.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical literature, schematics, and technical drawings.
  • Basic computer skills and understanding of equipment interfacing.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel periodically.
  • Ability to lift or push up to 75 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods.
  • Strong communication, organization, and customerservice skills.

This range represents the low and high ends of the Agiliti pay range for this position. This base pay range information is based on the market locations shown.
