Corrosion Lead Test Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Corrosion Lead Test Engineer to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to lead full vehicle corrosion testing. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in corrosion testing, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities include but not limited to:



  • Lead and manage full vehicle corrosion testing projects, ensuring accurate and reliable results
  • Develop and implement testing protocols and procedures for corrosion assessment
  • Conduct comprehensive reviews and assessments of vehicle corrosion performance
  • Analyze test data and prepare detailed technical reports and documentation
  • Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and quality teams to address corrosion-related issues
  • Provide technical guidance and support for the application of corrosion prevention strategies
  • Stay updated with industry advancements, standards, and best practices in corrosion testing
  • Present findings and recommendations to internal and external stakeholders
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance testing processes and product quality

Basic Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in corrosion testing or a similar role, or related experience
  • Proven experience in leading and managing corrosion testing projects
  • Strong understanding of corrosion mechanisms, testing methods, and industry standards
  • Proficiency in using testing equipment and software for data analysis
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Master's degree or Ph.D. in a related field
  • Experience in the automotive or aerospace industries
  • Professional Engineer (PE) certification
  • Knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma methodologies
