Payrate: $40-/hr on w2

Job Description:

  • Provide strategic capacity for community engagement work through DECE's Parent and Caregiver Advisory Cabinet (PCAC) and WI-CARE provider advisory group, and other engagements as needed.
  • Under the direction of PIA, lead the organization of WI-CARE, including developing agendas, preparing division subject matter experts for their presentations, advisory member relationship management, and reporting action items and annual impact reports to division leaders and the public.
  • Provide additional strategic capacity to the PCAC, specifically around parent survey development and planning of community convenings.
  • Lead analysis and interpretation of qualitative data from PCAC survey and stakeholder virtual meetings.
  • Support Bureau of YoungStar team analysis of community engagement findings and data-informed strategic planning and communications.
  • Serve as connection point between PCAC and WI-CARE, sharing best practices with program teams around engaging with parent and provider stakeholders.
  • Analyze and provide recommendations for improving family-focused communications.
  • Review current web content and materials to understand the current state of the division's family-focused communications.
  • Identify short- and long-term recommendations, using best practices, to improve family-focused communications.
  • Serve as subject matter expert (SME) on Preschool Development Grant (PDG) communications work focused on family-focused materials for special education, 4-year-old mixed delivery system, etc.
  • Serve as SME on PDG Child Care Finder enhancements project.
  • Participate in PDG Subject Matter virtual meetings to ensure grant progress.
  • Share risks and roadblocks with grant leadership team, as needed.
  • Provide monthly reports on activity progress.
  • Complete relevant sections of federal reports.
  • Provide support on other PDG initiatives.
  • Early Learning Development Guidelines training development and community engagement.
  • Other duties as assigned.
