Title: Board Certified Radiologists Location: Columbia, SC 29209 Compensation: Up to $500 an hour Job Benefits: Referral Program Employee Assistance Program Referral Bonus: $5,000 Job Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive diagnostic and interventional radiology services, including: Diagnostic Radiology Ultrasound CT MRI Nuclear Medicine Interventional Radiography Deliver direct patient care (approximately 95% of time) with timely and accurate interpretation of imaging studies. Attend clinics punctually and actively participate. Communicate test results effectively to providers and patients per established protocols. Provide consultation to referring physicians on appropriate imaging modalities and procedures. Review consults/orders and patient cases daily for at least two hours. Perform post-procedure evaluation and follow-up care for interventional procedures. Follow medication policies strictly, ensuring no sample medications are provided. Provide discharge education and follow-up instructions coordinated with subsequent care settings. Participate in Quality Improvement (QI) activities and attend required committee and staff meetings. Perform peer reviews for about four hours per month. Complete necessary QI documentation related to procedures and outcomes. Ensure compliance with patient safety and infection control standards. Report any incidents per VA protocols within 24 hours and maintain communication with the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR). Qualifications: Board Certification: Must be certified by the American Board of Radiology. Certifications: Valid ACLS and BLS certification. Skills: Nuclear Medicine experience (preferred) Certifications: BLS Certification American Board of Radiology Certification ACLS Certification
