Base Compensation Range: $21.51/ hour - $26.92/ hour

This position is eligible for an annual 10% bonus opportunity in addition to the base salary

This position supports Mesa's Calibration Solutions business. Our Calibration Solutions portfolio uses the principles of advanced metrology to enable customers to measure and calibrate critical parameters in applications such as Environmental and Process Monitoring, Dialysis, Gas Flow, Air Quality, and Torque Testing.

Job Summary

The Inventory Control Technician IV is a senior-level position responsible for overseeing complex inventory management processes, leading initiatives to enhance inventory accuracy, and implementing best practices across the organization.

Duties/Responsibilities

Advanced Inventory Management:

* Direct and oversee all aspects of inventory management, ensuring optimal stock levels and accuracy in inventory records.

* Lead the planning and execution of comprehensive inventory audits, including cycle counts and full physical inventories, to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

* Analyze inventory data and performance metrics to identify trends, forecast needs, and recommend strategic decisions to management.

* Prepare and present detailed reports on inventory performance, highlighting areas for improvement and potential cost savings.

Process Optimization:

* Develop and implement innovative inventory control processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline operations related to purchasing, warehousing, and distribution.

Receiving and Shipping Leadership:

* Oversee the receipt of goods, ensuring compliance with quality standards and accurate documentation.

* Coordinate shipping operations, working closely with logistics to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.

Compliance and Best Practices:

* Ensure adherence to company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards in all inventory-related activities.

* Develop and conduct training programs on best practices and compliance for inventory staff.

Team Leadership and Development:

* Mentor and coach inventory control team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.

* Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.

Problem Solving and Escalation:

* Act as a primary point of contact for complex inventory issues, facilitating resolution through collaboration with various departments.

* Implement corrective actions to address recurring inventory discrepancies or process inefficiencies.

Inventory Strategy Development:

* Work with management to establish inventory strategies that align with organizational goals and improve overall inventory turnover and accuracy.

* Participate in strategic planning meetings to provide insights and recommendations based on inventory data.

Education/Experience:

* Associate's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.

* Minimum of 4 - 6 years of experience in inventory control, logistics, or related roles, with a proven record of managing complex inventory systems and processes.

Knowledge & Skillsets Required:

* Advanced proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

* Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

* Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

* Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.

* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Physical Demands:

* Standing or walking: Extended periods standing or walking throughout the warehouse.

* Using computers: Typing and using the computer.

* Manual dexterity: Handling various operating equipment.

* Bending and reaching: Frequently reaching overhead, bending, picking up or moving items.

* Lifting: Occasionally lifting and carrying 25 to 75 pounds.

* Climbing: May need to climb ladders or use elevated platforms to access high storage areas.

Environmental Conditions:

* Workspace: Work environment temperature may vary depending on warehouse.

* Noise Levels: Noisy environments due to machinery and equipment.

* Dust and Dire: Exposure to dust, dirt, and airborne particles.

* Safety: Potential exposure to hazardous materials or unsafe conditions. Must adhere to safety standards.
