About the Role:

The Product Care Engineer coordinates and executes engineering activities that support product cost optimization, quality improvement, and successful new product launches. This role partners closely with manufacturing, suppliers, and crossfunctional engineering teams to drive databased decisions, execute project deliverables, and ensure robust product performance throughout the lifecycle. Success requires strong analytical thinking, clear communication, and the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse technical and operational groups.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead engineering activities that support costreduction, quality improvement, and factory performance.
  • Analyze test data, field feedback, and manufacturing inputs to identify and implement product design improvements.
  • Define and support execution of development requirements for product changes and new product introductions.
  • Drive projects from componentlevel updates to systemlevel enhancements while managing timelines and budgets.
  • Collaborate with suppliers on engineering matters related to sourcing strategies, component performance, and cost initiatives.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate engineering documentation, project files, and historical records of completed work.
  • Provide regular project status updates to leadership and crossfunctional teams.
  • Conduct thorough design reviews and support continuous improvement activities aligned with global engineering objectives.
  • Experience with purchasing processes, cost modeling, RFQs, or supplier-related engineering activities is a plus.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience with product development, manufacturing processes, or assembly methodologies.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with engineering project scheduling tools.
  • Knowledge of plastics and/or sheet metal design practices preferred.
