V3 Companies, a multidisciplinary AEC firm, is seeking a Land Surveyor in our Ohio office, where you will contribute to career-defining projects that reimagine our built and natural world. You'll change the shape of your community by charting plans that become tomorrow's places, creating impact that lasts. And, as part of our Survey team, you will collaborate with 450+ designers, engineers, and scientists to make meaningful, effective change across North America. Here's what you'll do: Project Management: Lead and execute CAD tasks for ALTA/NSPS, Boundary, and Topographic Surveys with finesse. Coordination: Craft construction layout maps and calculations that guide our field staff to success. Modeling Mastery: Handle CAD-generated surface models and sculpt accurate contours, cross sections, and profile drawings. Research & Setup: Dive into project research and lay the groundwork for success. Field Work: Step into the field when necessary, showcasing versatility and hands-on expertise. We're looking for: A degree in civil engineering, construction management, or surveying and geomatics, or at least 3 years of practical experience. An Ohio Licensed Land Surveyor ready to map out success. Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, with the skill to read and interpret complex civil, architectural, and structural drawings. Stellar communication skills to manage client requests and guide field staff with clear instructions. Experience with Trimble equipment and Microsoft Office Suite is a significant plus.
