  • Lead the preventive and predictive maintenance program to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient equipment operation


  • Plan, prepare, review, and close maintenance work orders, including job plans, labor hours, required skill sets, and parts availability, using SAP or a comparable system


  • Manage and prioritize the maintenance work order backlog, aligning schedules with production needs and available resources to minimize planned downtime


  • Develop and maintain daily and weekly maintenance schedules


  • Create purchase orders for maintenance parts and production supplies, including pricing coordination and purchasing processes


  • Maintain maintenance and production supply inventory, including inventory control, purchasing approvals, and process improvements


  • Keep an organized and uptodate library of equipment manuals, drawings, prints, and schematics


  • Maintain SAP or applicable systems, including equipment records, vendors, and system setup


  • Prepare maintenance financial, statistical, and technical reports, including equipment history and open work order updates


  • Partner with maintenance teams to continuously improve maintenance programs by updating tasks and frequencies with management approval


  • Promote a safe work environment and ensure compliance with all state and federal health and safety regulations


  • Follow all DFA Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and work in compliance with corporate regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation standards


  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and company computer systems
  • Working knowledge of manufacturing equipment and general maintenance activities
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to coordinate and manage a high volume of activities simultaneously
  • Clear and effective communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to adapt to changing organizational and operational needs
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines
  • Ability to follow directions and complete tasks with minimal supervision
  • Understanding of basic control systems used in a manufacturing plant and how they impact production processes
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English effectively
