As Director, Subcontracts, you lead the strategy, governance, and execution of subcontracting across major projects or defined business areas. You will be responsible for ensuring that subcontracting practices protect Worley's interests, preserve client rights and remedies, and enable safe, efficient, and compliant project delivery. In this role, you create clarity, structure, and strategic direction within the subcontracting function-aligning commercial execution with enterprise objectives. Purpose of the role The Director, Subcontracts completes and oversees contract assignments across all phases of contractual undertakings, typically handling highly complex agreements with significant commercial exposure. You establish the purpose and vision for the subcontracting function within your area of responsibility. You develop and implement strategic programs, policies, and procedures that support both current and future operational goals. Your leadership ensures that subcontractor selection, negotiation, administration, and performance management are executed with rigor and consistency. Where Worley manages contracts on behalf of a client, you collaborate closely with designated client representatives to ensure alignment, transparency, and disciplined contract governance.
