This role offers the opportunity to lead and advance an integrated, patientcentered Behavioral Health model across ambulatory care. The Senior Director plays a critical role in shaping how behavioral health services are delivered across primary and specialty care, ensuring continuity, quality, and a personalized patient experience aligned with the organization's mission and values.

The Role

The Senior Director oversees the Integrated Behavioral Health program within the ambulatory care group, providing strategic leadership and administrative direction across primary and specialty care. This role is responsible for the continuous improvement, development, and advancement of Behavioral Health services across the division.

The Senior Director ensures alignment with the organization's vision, mission, values, and strategic goals while supporting achievement of the Triple Aim. This leader is accountable for building and sustaining a Behavioral Health infrastructure with standardized pathways and processes that ensure continuity of care and a personalized patient experience across all care settings.

What You'll Do



  • Facilitate, coordinate, and be accountable for all services supporting behavioral health patients throughout every phase of wellness across primary and specialty care settings, in coordination with services across all eight campuses.
  • Oversee the psychologist training program, including the practicum, American Psychological Association (APA) accredited internship, and residency programs.
  • Build and facilitate strong partnerships with caregivers, physicians, providers, and leaders to advance strategic initiatives.
  • Hire, direct, coach, and monitor the performance of direct reports to develop and maintain a high performing team aligned with organizational and departmental goals.
  • Design, develop, implement, and evaluate PMG Behavioral Health infrastructure to achieve the highest level of service, organizational strategic goals, and the Triple Aim.
  • In partnership with the Director of Operations, support budget development, ongoing monitoring, accountability, and achievement of operational targets across areas of responsibility.
  • Direct financial activities to ensure PMG Behavioral Health meets fiscal objectives, including planning for personnel, capital equipment, and supplies.
  • Provide and oversee delivery of customer service that promotes goodwill and is timely, efficient, and accurate.
  • Partner with Communications and Public Relations to develop and implement an effective communication program that reflects integrity and transparency for PMG Behavioral Health across the region.
  • Contribute to special projects requiring multidisciplinary collaboration, serving as a counselor and facilitator to build bridges across departments and support services.


What You'll Bring



  • Education
  • Doctorate degree in a behavioral health-related field (e.g., Social Work, Psychology).
  • Certification
  • Current, related Oregon licensure.
  • Experience
  • Six (6) or more years of seniorlevel operations administration and management experience in Primary Care Behavioral Health and other Behavioral Health clinic services.
  • Experience across multiple service lines, including outpatient services.
  • Clinical and Professional Expertise

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapies (CBT)

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
