FUNCTION: Under direction and utilizing established procedures, responsible for the creating and developing product designs using SolidWorks Electrical. Evaluate design feasibility and ensure products meet user needs, cost-effectiveness, manufacturability and applicable standards

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Analyze new and existing products in the areas of design, function, reliability, and manufacturability.

1. Creation and refinement of electrical systems and drawings to capture design intent and adapt products to specific customer requirements and product applications.

1. Prepare drawings, Bill of Materials (), Installation Operation and Maintenance Manuals, and technical documentation as required.

1. Apply applicable NEMA, ATEX, ANSI, API, CSA, CE, CRN or other codes and standards as required.

1. Assisting the testing and debugging of assigned products in the shop.

1. Maintain ongoing project requirements, schedules, and specifications for multiple projects in a deadline-based environment.

1. Work with other departments to resolve issues with orders and/or equipment in the shop and execute Engineering Change processing to revise designs as necessary.

1. Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
