The estimated annual base salary range for this position is $96,430 - $127,772. Individual pay within this salary range is determined by several compensable factors, including performance, knowledge, job-related skills and experience, and relevant education or training. This role is also eligible for S&C's annual incentive plan (AIP), subject to eligibility criteria. Join Our Team as an Electrical Engineer III! Are you passionate about Electrical Engineer? S&C Electric Company is seeking a dynamic individual to join our Engineering department. The Electrical Engineer III demonstrates strong technical expertise, initiative, and leadership in electrical design and cross-functional collaboration. They contribute to larger, more complex projects, engage with internal and external teams, and begin influencing departmental and organizational goals. They are expected to work independently, mentor junior engineers, and help shape the future of the department through innovation and strategic thinking. Key Responsibilities:
- Research & Technology: Conduct independent electrical testing and analyze results. Document findings and report insights to support design decisions and inform product improvements.
- Product Support: Drive engineering projects, including novel designs and first-time implementations. Execute tasks, identify next steps, and ensure successful execution from concept through completion. Serve as a go-to resource for solving complex problems with products currently in production, and RMA testing and analysis.
- Design & Application: Design new electrical components and systems, perform calculations, and apply practical engineering knowledge to real-world challenges. Demonstrate a strong understanding of mechanical processes and integration.
- Product Design: Design and development of innovative electrical components and systems for existing products, ensuring manufacturability, performance, and cost-effectiveness. Assist in the process from concept through prototyping and production readiness while collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical solutions seamlessly.
- Technical Mentorship: Mentor and guide more junior engineers, provide technical guidance, and drive brainstorming sessions. Act as the go-to resource for resolving design and component-related issues.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with internal teams across departments and engage with external partners, including international groups. Build relationships and contribute to broader organizational initiatives.
- Strategic Contribution: Support institutional goals by contributing to process improvements, technical strategy, and departmental growth. Help shape how the team fits into the broader industry landscape.
- Compliance: Understand and comply with all applicable Company policies and rules.
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
- Attend in-person or virtual meetings as requested or required.

What you'll Need to Succeed: Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics or a related field.
- 5-7 Years of experience in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
- Great understanding of electrical circuit design and programming.
- Good skills in effective problem-solving and able to communicate across some levels of the organization related to concepts of supply-chain, production, and electronics.
- A great understanding of various manufacturing technologies and methods, preferably within the electronics manufacturing industry.
- Good interpersonal skills to establish meaningful relationships built on mutual trust and respect, and foster collaborative working relationships amongst a diverse audience.
- Great communication skills (written, verbal, listening, and presentation), able to partner with and communicate with customers, both technical and non-technical.
- Commitment to fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the quality function.
- Good organizational planning, coordinating internal and external resources, and juggling key demands.
- Sound business sense and analytical skills with the ability to use and analyze data to drive informed actions, solve complex problems, and drive learning.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, including the flexibility to work extended hours when necessary.
Great computer skills and ability to use Microsoft Office applications, specifically Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Power BI, or other similar systems. Including great data analysis skills
