Position Summary:

This intern position is primarily responsible with supporting the mechanical design engineering team by developing fixtures and assisting with multiple projects! This exciting 2026 summer internship will support our Interventional Systems team with opportunity for contribution and input.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with developing fixtures and devices for multiple products and programs.
  • Identify and specify materials, tools, and equipment required to support R&D.
  • Work with engineers and technicians to develop and implement processes for new or modified products.
  • Communicate with engineering team as required on development and manufacturing activities.

Must Have:

  • 2 years minimum completed towards an engineering degree.
  • Must be able to read, write and speak fluent English.
  • Strong computer skills, including the MS Office suite.
  • Interest in how complex medical devices work.
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-through.
  • Experience with hand tools and power tools, SolidWorks, and detailed drawings.
  • Above average oral and written communication skills with in-house technical personnel and outside vendors and customers.
  • Basic knowledge of engineering principles, technical writing, materials properties.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and technical documents.
  • Ability to commute on-site daily and participate in full internship program.

Salary Range: $24.00-$27.00/hour depending on qualifications.
