State Department Federal Credit Union is seeking a Systems Analyst to manage and optimize core financial systems that power operational excellence and member experience. This role is responsible for overseeing key platforms, including the Client Relationship Management (CRM) system, ensuring they operate efficiently, securely, and in alignment with organizational objectives. The Systems Analyst will maintain system performance, availability, and integrations with core financial systems and third-party applications. This position plays a critical role in planning, implementing, and maintaining systems and software solutions that support business growth while meeting industry standards and regulatory requirements. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, including end-users and department managers, to plan and develop long-term strategies for core financial systems and software solutions.
- Review and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems and develop strategies for improving or further leveraging these systems.
- Ensure that system planning aligns with the credit unions goals, including customer engagement, data security, and performance needs.
- Work with IT and internal teams to deploy and integrate third-party solutions and related systems.
- Manage and maintain core systems and software, ensuring they operate at optimal performance levels.
- Oversee software patching, upgrades, and system configurations to enhance CRM functionality.
- Ensure that all third-party communication systems are secure and functional when integrating with core systems.
- Safeguard enterprise data in core systems by following best practices around security, privacy, and compliance.
- Administer user accounts, permissions, and storage allocations within CRM systems, ensuring compliance with privacy regulations and security protocols.
- Conduct regular system audits, including security and data access audits.
Required Skills and Competencies:
- Proven experience in overseeing the design, development, and implementation of software and hardware solutions, systems, or products is desirable.
- Minimum of three years of experience in IT or a similar position.
- Client Relationship Management (CRM) software experience is desirable.
- BS in Computer Science or related academic program. Computer programming and systems analyst experience is desirable.
- Symitar (Episys) Repgen/PowerOn experience is desirable.
- Must possess good communication skills and time management skills.
- Ability to read and interpret complex technical publications and documentation.
- Must be able to multi-task and work on several projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of data flow, interactions of systems, and capabilities and limitations of systems software and computer equipment.
- Ability to work effectively with staff, vendors, and within cross-functional teams.
- Ability to function in a fast-paced environment and utilize standard office equipment including but not limited to: PC, fax, copier, telephone, etc.
- Some travel may be required.
