Trade Compliance Specialist needed for a contract opportunity with SOC's client to work remotely.



This role is remote; however, candidates located in Melbourne, Florida; Arlington, Virginia; or Anaheim, California (Southern California) are preferred. Occasional travel to client sites may be required.



Travel is required for this role (up to 10%)



Our client is seeking a Trade Compliance Specialist to support the Corporate Global Trade Compliance (GTC) Program Sustainment team. This role will assist in the delivery of internal trade compliance work products, documentation, and records management related to corporate trade compliance policies and training initiatives. The position will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and support the development, maintenance, and improvement of corporate trade compliance processes, procedures, and training activities.



Responsibilities

* Support the Global Trade Compliance (GTC) Program Sustainment Team in maintaining trade compliance policies, procedures, and internal communications.

* Assist with the development, review, and publication of GTC procedures and policy documentation.

* Support project management activities, including project tracking, task management, and change management processes.

* Identify opportunities for system and process improvements, including automation of internal workflows and business processes.

* Maintain and manage SharePoint resources, including calendars, documentation repositories, and organizational structures.

* Support trade compliance training programs, including summits, conferences, and in-person, virtual, or hybrid training events.

* Assist with drafting and testing training courses and related educational materials.

* Maintain training records and repositories, ensuring accurate documentation and coordination with HR Talent Enablement and business segments.

* Provide administrative and project support to the Director of Program Sustainment, Corporate GTC Directors, and Corporate Senior Director as required.

* Assist with activities related to consent agreement obligations and internal compliance initiatives.

* Travel as needed to support meetings or program functions at client facilities.



Qualifications

Sr. Associate - Trade Compliance (Level 2)

* Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of related experience, OR

* Graduate degree with 0-2 years of related experience, OR

* Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.

* Working knowledge of ITAR, EAR, and Customs regulations.

* Awareness of OFAC and BATFE regulations.



Specialist - Trade Compliance (Level 3)

* Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of related experience, OR

* Graduate degree with 2+ years of related experience, OR

* Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.

* Proficient knowledge of ITAR, EAR, and Customs regulations.

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

* Experience with task and process automation.

* Familiarity with Artificial Intelligence tools for workflow or operational efficiency.

Employment Prerequisites
