SHIFT: Day (United States of America)Senior Data Analyst - The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (Philadelphia, PA): Lead high-profile strategic projects and serve as an expert in translating clinical and business requirements into meaningful analysis to improve performance. Duties include: lead and oversee the design of end-to-end data architecture (including data inputs, governance, EDM, complex analysis pipelines, and presentation), and provide technical stewardship and best practice guidance for data visualization and architecture across the Data Analytics (DA) organization; advise on and develop new advanced data models (including multi-step complex SQL models and scalable ETL/TDL approaches), evaluate technical tradeoffs, recommend testing frameworks and documentation practices, and drive adoption of integration tools and advanced data-warehouse techniques; identify technical challenges across Data & Analytics, convene multidisciplinary workgroups (with LT/IT support) to design solutions and remove technical blockers, act as escalation point for complex technical issues, and coordinate cross-functional engineering efforts; collaborate and develop partnerships with other teams (DTS/CHQA etc.), identify appropriate partners, facilitate barrier resolution, and manage a portfolio of areas with limited stakeholders. Additional duties include: manage assigned analytic projects end to end, write and maintain code, and produce deliverables independently; produce KPIs from conceptual definitions, develop dashboards and visualizations, demonstrate analytical products to stakeholders, and collect feedback; keep organized notes, develop agendas, facilitate meaningful stakeholder conversations, and translate meeting outputs to action items/next steps; and support Data & Analytics team processes (data coaching, onboarding, recruitment) and articulate institutional impact of projects. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or a related field and 5 years of experience performing data analysis and business intelligence using SQL, SSMS, SSAS, the Epic electronic health record system (Chronicles, Clarity, Caboodle), RStudio, and Python.
