Genesis10 is currently seeking a Control Room Analyst for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Plano, TX. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. This critical control room position ensures 24/7 support for release monitoring and meets SLAs for production and lower-lane environment management. The role involves building, executing, and deploying AutoSys jobs while monitoring activities for functional, regression, and performance testing. Responsibilities:
- Ensure required 24/7 support of release monitoring is maintained
- Meet SLAs for Production release monitoring and lower lane environment management activities
- Build, execute, track and deploy AutoSys related jobs
- Monitor day to day activities in lower lanes for functional, regression and performance testing
Requirements:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent presentation skills and knowledge of Confluence, SharePoint, and MS Office (Projects, Excel, Outlook)
- Experience with hosting and coordinating web-based meetings, status calls, and communication channels
- Prepare and maintain standard operating procedures with instructional materials
- Analytical thinking with the ability to make suggestions to improve operational efficiency
- Experience in Testing (manual/Automation)
- Experience in Release management process
- Hands on experience in JIRA and Horizon tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge on Scrum, Agile methodology
Desired skills:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a control room operations environment
- Knowledge and exposure to the entire SDLC
- Experience in Automation to improve operational efficiency
- Knowledge of Oracle and/or SAP
- Experience in Change management tools
- Experience with ERP in banking domain and process, and with tools like Autosys/ALM/Service Now/Remedy
