Knowledge Management Specialist to scope, build, test, tweak, and support cutting-edge generative AI solutions while crafting clear documentation and user guides that empower our teams. You'll drive process automation that makes attorneys' and business professionals' days smoother, partner with our Knowledge Management leadership to analyze responsible AI use and tool adoption, workflow portals, and virtual data rooms-plus spin up low/no-code apps. If you love making well-formatted, templated documents sing and matching the right automation to the right need, this role is your playground-and you'll have room to pitch in wherever your curiosity leads.
In this role, you will: - Participate in scoping, building, testing, modifying, and supporting Dorsey's generative AI solutions. This includes preparing documentation on application functionality and user guides. - Support process automation efforts using tools to help attorneys and business professionals gain efficiencies in their routine, daily work. - Assist Knowledge Management Manager and Chief Knowledge and Innovation Officer in conducting regular data analysis to measure AI responsible use and adoption of efficiency tools. - Configure client extranets, workflow portals and virtual data rooms, and assist in developing low or no-code applications, such as the Associate Traffic Light system, Pro Bono and E-Filing portals, the Preferred Foreign Counsel application. - Support available document automation tools, including those used by various practice groups. This requires familiarity with document templating functionality to ensure high-quality formatted documents and implementation of the appropriate tools for the identified need. - May be requested to perform other duties as needed. What we're looking for: - Bachelor's degree. - At least three to five years of experience in knowledge management or application development. - Technical experience with generative AI and low-code/no-code application building and/or demonstrated - Experience in web programming and website design. - Strong design skills with strong understanding of user experience best practices. - Excellent ability to solve problems, manage multiple projects, and balance priorities. - Understanding of law firm business drivers and how legal teams work. - Ability to maintain effective working relationships with all levels of Firm personnel in a team environment. - Excellent organizational and oral and written communication skills. - Excellent client and customer services skills. - Ability to work well independently. - Ability to work beyond normal business hours in order to meet project schedules. Preferred: - Experience in law firm or other professional services organization. - Project management experience. - Experience with NetDocuments or similar document management platform. - Knowledge management experience. This range represents Dorsey's good faith estimate of likely compensation at the time of posting.
