Job Summary

Church & Dwight is seeking an Operational Finance Lead, to join our team. The Operational Finance Lead for Church & Dwight's Global Markets Group (GMG) plays a critical role in supporting our international business through robust cost analytics, operational finance leadership, and process improvement.

About the Role

This role partners closely with operational finance teams from Church & Dwight's subsidiaries, Commercial, IT, and GMG regional finance teams to ensure accurate costing, support pricing decisions, and drive margin improvement for our global portfolio. The ideal candidate is proactive, analytical, and comfortable operating in a fastpaced, matrixed environment with global stakeholders.

Work Environment

Hybrid: This is a hybrid role based in Ewing, NJ and requires in- person attendance on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, with remote work options on Mondays and Fridays.

Role Accountabilities and Responsibilities

Costing & Operational Finance

  • Gather cost inputs from intercompany entities, copackers, and contract manufacturers.
  • Perform detailed variance analysis, identify root causes for discrepancies, and partner with C&D subsidiary operational finance team to drive data accuracy.
  • Present insights on cost movement to leadership team and recommend actions to improve margins and operational efficiency.
  • Maintain cost master data in ERP, communicate cost change to stakeholders, and ensure cost data accuracy through regular reviews.
  • Provide endtoend cost estimates for NPD projects, work closely with R&D, Procurement, Supply Chain, and Marketing to refine assumptions and validate feasibility.
  • Support GMG team with cost transparency, scenario modeling, and profitability analytics.

Pricing Support & G2G (Good to Great)

  • Own the accuracy, logic, and assumptions within the GMG pricing tool; update cost inputs, FX rates, and corporate assumptions regularly, ensuring alignment with GMG region and Revenue Growth Management team.
  • Participate in workstreams related to G2G projects, track financial benefits, validate savings, and ensure alignment between global finance, operations, and regional GMG teams.

Process Improvement

  • Identify gaps and inefficiencies on current costing process (cost builds, updates, reconciliations, reporting); recommend improvements based on operational finance best practices.
  • Standardize costing and reporting processes across GMG markets.
  • Partner with IT to troubleshoot system issues and enhance costing functionality.

CrossFunctional Collaboration

  • Serve as GMG's costing subject matter expert; develop SOPs, user guides, and training materials, and train teams on costing methods and pricing tools.
  • Support global sourcing decisions (e.g., makevsbuy, footprint changes) with financial models and cost comparisons.
  • Participate in crossfunctional task forces to address operational or commercial issues.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • MBA or CMA strongly preferred.
  • 5-8+ years of progressive experience in operational finance, cost accounting, or supply chain finance within CPG, manufacturing, or a multinational environment.
  • Experience supporting global business units and working with international teams preferred.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP strongly preferred).
  • Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI) a plus.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Compensation and Benefits

The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $92,500-$131,700. This position is also eligible for a bonus.

U.S. employees are entitled to paid holidays, floating holidays, and vacation days starting in their first year of employment depending on hire date. The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal pay parity. Compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
