Human Resources Manager
Willows, California (On-site)
The Human Resources Manager is responsible for overseeing the HR functions at the Willows facility, ensuring the implementation of company policies and programs, and providing strategic HR guidance to support the overall goals and objectives. Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure full compliance with all employment-related laws and regulations.
- Conduct legal audits to ensure HR practices adhere to legal standards.
- Foster a positive work environment through effective employee relations/retention strategies.
- Resolve employee relations issues including conflict resolution, harassment investigations, employee disputes, attendance issues, and general concerns.
- Monitor HR metrics and provide reports to Senior/Executive Management.
- Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Use HR analytics to support decision-making processes.
- Guide Willows Production Operations with employee relations, performance management, and plant policy adherence.
- Support Talent Acquisition Team with Willows plant recruiting initiatives.
- Conduct stay interviews and exit interviews for all Willows plant employees and analyze interview results to continuously improve upon company programs and processes.
- Supervise Human Resources Coordinator and Plant Receptionist at the Willows Facility.
- Assist with other human-resource-related duties as assigned.
- Perform special projects as assigned by the Sr. Vice President of Human Resources & Corporate Communications, Director of Human Resources-Operations, or other senior management.
- Support Director of Human Resources-Operations with Mandatory Meetings and Orientation.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor Degree in supervisory management, training, human resources, or related field or equivalent experience is required. Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certification preferred.
- 7 to 10 years of progressively responsible human resources management experience, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
- Requires a high level of confidentiality to deal respectfully with sensitive personal matters.
- Ability to write clear, understandable reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals for all levels of the organization.
- Proficient with Microsoft Outlook and Office products.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from various levels of employees.
- Excellent interpersonal skills including well-developed listening and coaching skills.
- Demonstrated decision-making skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Strong follow-through ability to meet time commitments.
- Requires excellent interpersonal skills to frequently deal with employees, management, and the general public.
- Ability to work off-shift hours when necessary and additional hours as needed.
