Responsibilities

Note: Must be able to work up to 20 hours per week onsite at the Parker Hannifin Pneumatic Division HQ in Richland, MI. This internship will start in Spring 2026 and may continue through the summer and the next school year. During the summer, the intern may work up to 40 hours per week. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States. The company will not sponsor applicants for employment visas now or in the future for this position.

A supply chain internship provides hands-on exposure to how products and services move from suppliers to customers. Interns typically support planning, procurement, manufacturing/operations, logistics, and analytics teams while learning how companies manage cost, service levels, inventory, and risk across end-to-end networks.

You Main Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a variety of schedules, records, and reports pertaining to the tracking of materials through the production cycle and availability of production resources.

  • Assists in executing requisite system transactions needed to support the receipt, storage and transfer of material.

  • Assists with the monitoring of inventory levels, generating tracking reports and performing data entry as required.

  • Assists new suppliers with onboarding process, and support Supplier Improvement Projects to achieve Zero defect strategy.

We are looking for talent with:

  • Junior or Senior working towards a Bachelor's Degree in Integrated Supply Chain Management, Business, Materials management required with certification in supply chain management preferred.
  • Possess analytical and technical skills required to understand business practices and recommend proper automation opportunities.
  • Must have intermediate to advanced computer skills and be able to understand electronic processing.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills for effective interface with all internal and external contacts.
  • Must be an innovator and embrace lean enterprises principles and practices
