Summary:
The Project Manager/Estimator plays a critical role in planning, executing, and closing construction projects successfully. This position is responsible for reviewing project plans, preparing detailed estimates and proposals, coordinating resources, and maintaining accurate project documentation.
This position facilitates communication among internal teams, contractors, subcontractors, and clients, monitors project progress, and ensures compliance with specifications, budgets, and safety standards.. This role is key to ensuring projects run smoothly, teams stay aligned, and clients receive exceptional results.

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze project plans and specifications to gather all necessary details for preparing accurate job estimates.
- Prepare, organize, and manage all project documentation, including contracts, change orders, submittals, project goals, and close-out packages; create and maintain project records.
- Lead or participate in project kick-off meetings with construction managers and jobsite foremen to confirm objectives, schedules, and deliverables.
- Monitor and track project progress, proactively identifying risks or delays and implementing timely solutions.
- Facilitate communication and coordination among internal teams, contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.
- Assist with tracking and reporting project costs, resource usage, and budget performance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct on-site inspections to verify work quality, adherence to project specifications, and compliance with safety standards.
- Assist in resolving conflicts or issues between various parties such as contractors, vendors, or clients, in a timely manner.
- Facilitate with the completion of project postmortems; suggest recommendations for future projects.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
- Previous experience in construction or project coordination, with a solid understanding of workflows and industry practices.
- Practical experience and strong working knowledge of HVAC systems, including service operations and preventative maintenance programs.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites as required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and construction management software, with the ability to create and maintain accurate project documentation.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans, contracts, and specifications to ensure compliance and accurate project execution.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with sharp attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Clear and professional communication skills, capable of building strong relationships with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
- Basic knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction safety standards, as well as familiarity with quality control procedures.
- Adaptability in fast-paced environments, with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to respond effectively to challenges.
- Self-motivated and driven to achieve and surpass sales goals, consistently seeking opportunities to maximize results.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit up to eight (8) hours per working day.
- Ability to travel to and navigate construction sites as required, including walking on uneven surfaces, climbing ladders or stairs, and accessing various areas of the site safely.
- Ability to regularly lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach with hands and arms, use hands and fingers to grasp and handle objects.
