Overview

Aquent is partnering with a global industry leader known for innovation, quality, and strong consumer engagement to identify a dynamic HR Business Partner II. In this role, you will support a dedicated business unit by driving people-focused initiatives that enhance employee engagement, talent development, and organizational effectiveness.

This position offers the opportunity to partner closely with business leaders and HR teams to support recruitment, employee development, HR operations, and workforce initiatives. The ideal candidate is a proactive HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about building strong teams and positive workplace cultures.

Key Responsibilities


HR Business Partnership & Employee Engagement

  • Serve as the HR Business Partner for early career and junior-level employees, supporting career development and employee experience initiatives.
  • Foster a positive workplace culture by providing HR guidance, coaching, and support to employees and managers.
  • Coordinate and support employee engagement initiatives and events to promote collaboration and morale.


Talent Acquisition & Onboarding

  • Lead recruitment efforts for non-exempt positions, partnering closely with the talent acquisition team to build strong talent pipelines.
  • Manage interview coordination, candidate selection processes, and onboarding programs to ensure a smooth hiring experience.


Employee Development & Training

  • Build strong partnerships with business leaders to support employee growth and development programs.
  • Coordinate formal and informal training initiatives to strengthen workforce capabilities.


HR Operations & Compliance

  • Interpret and apply HR policies and procedures to support operational needs and ensure compliance with employment regulations.
  • Maintain and manage HR data and records, including employee files, headcount reporting, and HR workflows.
  • Support data collection and reporting for regulatory compliance programs, including Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and Affirmative Action reporting.


Compensation & HR Strategy

  • Partner with the Total Rewards team to evaluate compensation packages and support pay recommendations aligned with company policies.
  • Act as a liaison between central HR teams and business unit leadership, ensuring alignment on HR initiatives and organizational priorities.


Required Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of HR experience, ideally in an HR Business Partner or HR Generalist capacity.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations, including EEO, ADA, FMLA, wage and hour laws, and workforce adjustments.
  • Understanding of compensation policies and HR best practices.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) and the ability to learn internal HR systems quickly.
  • Basic understanding of P&L statements and business budgeting processes.
