As a member of the Technology Project and Portfolio Governance leadership team, this role works cross-functionally within all areas of Technology the strategic delivery, management, and standardization of Project management methodology. This position plays a key role in the development and adoption of standards, templates and processes for effective project management and delivery in both Agile and Waterfall teams. By continuously monitoring and evaluating the performance of various IT projects during their execution, they ensure that investments are continuing on track, and that any potential issues are identified and addressed in a timely manner. This involves a combination of financial acumen, technical knowledge, risk mitigation, and escalation measures. This role is responsible for establishing the critical processes and delivery methodology tools in support of the enterprise's strategic initiatives, providing business value across the Wendy's Brand. This role will serve as a center of excellence providing thought leadership, best practices, research and adoption support for all things related to technology project and program management.

Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the Project Management Office, Technology Leadership teams, product and project managers within IT to define, and align on updated processes, templates and tools used for effective delivery of all Technology projects and programs.
  • Contributes and fosters the adoption of an overall PMO strategic roadmap and processes, translating the PMO organizational vision into tactical tasks, initiatives, updated processes, templates and tools. Facilitate the tracking of key performance indicators (KPIs) and progress of key initiatives and assist the leadership team in the preparation of materials for stakeholders.
  • Establishes, monitors, and measures Project and Program status communication plan effectiveness for Technology leadership and senior business leadership. Accountable to Steering Committee(s) for ensuring communication of progress towards enterprise/strategic goals, including but not limited to, overall Program roadmap status, budget tracking and resource allocation for specific programs.
  • Define, develop and implement capacity management and improve resource allocation visibility through processes and tools that align with delivery models within teams. Ensure effective utilization of resources, and budget to efficient program execution.
  • Cross Functional Resource management: Confirms resource availability and allocation for specific program needs. Requests and manages external program/project management resources as required and budgeted for flex project needs. Monitors partner resource performance and provides feedback. Responsible for Project Management focused external partner relationships, contracts, invoicing and payment.


What we expect from you
  • Bachelors Degree required, BS Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field.
  • 8+ years Technology project management experience including experience developing project plans that includes the charter, scope, project management approach, success criteria, management plans, statements of work, cost estimates, and delivery schedules.
  • Solid understanding of end-to-end business strategy with a continuous improvement mindset. Demonstrated success in driving and delivering innovative solutions through productive and lasting partnerships with business partners and external partners.
  • Knowledge of project management best practices, including knowledge of waterfall and agile methodologies.
  • Active accredited project management certification. (ex. PMP, PgMP, PfMP, PMI-ACP, or SAFe POPM, CSM or other industry recognized certifications) preferred.
  • Strong financial analysis, budget planning and management experience with demonstrated capability of managing program budgets up to $5 million.
  • Strong relationship and interpersonal skills including team building, collaboration, communication, influence, negotiation, dispute resolution & mediation. Demonstrated ability to communicate with & business leaders to understand requirements, expectations & value measures.

Expected Work Location (In Office): It is expected that you will primarily perform work at the Wendy's Restaurant Support Center (RSC) (1 Dave Thomas Blvd, Dublin, OH 43017), or at other location(s) as designated by the Company. You are required to work in the office at least 4 days a week. Changes to work location arrangements are subject to managerial approval and business needs. #LI-Onsite

The base pay range for this position is listed below. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and budget for the open position and also may vary depending on the candidate's job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, among other relevant factors. This range does not include an estimated value for any benefits, bonus, or other incentives that may be applicable based on position. The target annual bonus for this role is 20% of annualized base salary, based on actual company and personal performance.

Pay Range: $105,000.00 - $184,000.00 Annually
