Senior Test Engineer - FLITE+ (Missile Warning Integration & Test)

Location: Buckley SFB, CO Clearance:

TS/SCI Required Employer: Leidos

Leidos has an immediate opening for a Senior Test Engineer supporting the FLITE+ program at Buckley Space Force Base. This position provides seniorlevel technical leadership for the Missile Warning Integration and Test mission, driving verification strategy, execution, and enterprise alignment across a highly visible national security effort.

If you're a seasoned Missile Warning engineer who thrives in complex, multisystem environments and wants to influence enterpriselevel test approaches, this role puts you at the center of mission success.

Role Overview

As the Senior Test Engineer, you will deliver independent technical consultation and verification expertise to the Chief Test Engineer and the broader Missile Warning enterprise. You'll help shape test methodologies, guide integration activities, and ensure verification processes are executed with rigor, consistency, and mission focus.

This role requires a deep understanding of Missile Warning systems, strong technical judgment, and the ability to advise senior stakeholders across a distributed enterprise.

Telecommuting 50%: Candidates must live within commuting distance of Buckley SFB, CO.

What You'll Do

  • Lead Missile Warning Integration and Test activities as a senior technical authority.
  • Provide independent verification expertise and technical consultation to the Chief Test Engineer.
  • Recommend and refine test strategies, verification methodologies, and process improvements to strengthen mission performance.
  • Support enterpriselevel coordination, ensuring test and verification activities are aligned across systems, partners, and mission threads.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of test documentation, execution discipline, and integration readiness.

Required Qualifications

  • Active TS/SCI security clearance
  • Master's degree and 10+ years of relevant experience OR a Bachelors Degree and 12 years of relevant experience.
  • Extensive background in Missile Warning systems, integration, and verification
  • Proven ability to provide technical leadership and strategic advisory support in complex mission environments
