Job Description:

Are you ready to take your engineering career to new heights? Airbus Helicopters, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. In this role, you won't just be monitoring a line; you will be the architect of efficiency-optimizing production methods, solving complex technical challenges, and implementing cutting-edge technologies. If you have a BS in Engineering, at least 2 years of experience, and a passion for continuous improvement (Lean/Six Sigma), we want to talk to you about driving excellence in our MRO and industrial operations.

Meet the Team:

You'll be reporting to our Industrial Planning and Control Manager, but your "office" spans the entire facility. Our team culture is built on the "people side" of change. We believe that the best manufacturing improvements don't come from a computer screen alone-they come from conferring with equipment vendors, soliciting feedback from our skilled operators, and working cross-functionally with MRO services. We are a group that values professional autonomy, SAP expertise, and the Lean/Six Sigma mindset. If you are a results-oriented team player who views a production bottleneck as an opportunity to innovate, you'll fit right in.

Your Working Environment:

On the eastern border of Mississippi you'll find Columbus, home to our Helicopter manufacturing and assembly lines and Center of Excellence for the entire North America region. It's here that we produce the UH-72A Lakota Helicopters for the U.S. Army in addition to the H-125 aircraft for civil and commercial customers.
