We are seeking an experienced Senior Hardware Engineer (RFE3) to support a large support services contract with the Naval Sea Systems Command. Position Description: You will provide support to the Program and Deputy Program Manager of a 200-person, contractor team that includes subcontractor personnel. Work location and telework: The primary government worksite is the Washington Navy Yard in Washington, DC. Contractors should expect to work on-site at the Navy Yard or nearby office locations up to five (5) days per week. Limited telework may be available with customer approval and may be adjusted over time based on mission needs and established working relationships. Responsibilities and Duties: Hardware Engineers research, design, develop, and test computer systems and components such as processors, circuit boards, and memory devices. They develop technical schematics, support and oversee manufacturing processes, and enhance equipment to improve performance, speed, and power efficiency. Working primarily in laboratory environments, they collaborate closely with software teams to ensure seamless hardware and software integration. This role requires strong expertise in electronics, programming, troubleshooting, and debugging.
