Genesis10 is currently seeking a Software Engineer for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC. This is an 18+ month contract opportunity. In this role, you will consult on and participate in moderately complex software engineering initiatives. The position involves contributing to large-scale planning, reviewing and analyzing technical challenges, and collaborating closely with client personnel to meet project deliverables. Responsibilities: Consult on or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Software Engineering Contribute to large-scale planning related to Software Engineering deliverables Review and analyze moderately complex Software Engineering challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable factors Contribute to the resolution of moderately complex issues and consult with others to meet deliverables Leverage a solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements Collaborate with client personnel in Software Engineering Requirements: 7+ years of Technology Infrastructure Engineering and Solutions experience across enterprise environments (including work experience, training, education, or military background). 5+ years of hands-on experience managing large-scale Middleware Messaging platforms such as: IBM MQ (WebSphere MQ) IBM Message Broker / ACE / IIB Kafka Solace Strong experience supporting enterprise-level, highly available, mission-critical environments. Strong expertise in IBM MQ ecosystems, systems administration, automation, incident management, and cross-functional collaboration.
