The HR Compliance Analyst supports the consistent and compliant application of HR policies and employment practices across the organization. This role partners with HR and business stakeholders to monitor compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations while supporting administrative HR processes and risk mitigation efforts.

The position focuses on policy adherence, compliance monitoring, and HR administrative support, including background and drug screening coordination, regulatory tracking, and data reporting.


Key Responsibilities


  • Monitor compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws (e.g., wage & hour, time and attendance, sick leave requirements).



  • Support FLSA classification reviews and compliance assessments.



  • Assist with background check and drug screening program administration.



  • Maintain reporting and documentation for EEO, Affirmative Action, and employment compliance.



  • Support union/CBA administration compliance and related reporting.



  • Conduct periodic HR process and data integrity audits.



  • Track regulatory updates and communicate compliance impacts to HR stakeholders.



  • Partner with Legal, HR Operations, and Talent Acquisition to resolve compliance issues.



  • Maintain compliance documentation, checklists, and process guides.



  • Support HR operations with data entry, reporting, and scheduling tasks.




Required Qualifications


  • 3-5 years of HR experience, preferably with exposure to employment compliance.



  • Experience in transportation/logistics environments strongly preferred (e.g., Amazon, FedEx, UPS).



  • Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs).



  • Experience with HRIS systems and compliance tracking tools.



  • Knowledge of U.S. employment laws (FLSA, FMLA, ADA, Title VII).



  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with managers and HR partners.



  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and organizational abilities.



  • HR certification progress (PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus.




Ideal Candidate Profile


  • HR administrative or HR operations background with exposure to compliance.



  • Comfortable working in fast-paced operational environments.



  • Strong Excel and data management capabilities.



  • Experience supporting background checks, drug screenings, or HR compliance tracking.
